Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 September 2026 · Applies to this site and to SQ-Apps applications

We are SQ-Apps, an independent app studio in Saudi Arabia publishing Arabic-first applications for the web and mobile. This page explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted. For anything concerning privacy, write to info@sqdev.app.

The short version:

1. This website (sqdev.app)

This site is static pages. There are no accounts, no forms, no cookies set by us, and no analytics. Nothing is asked of you and nothing about you is stored here.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which — like any host — processes your browser's request technically (IP address, browser type) to deliver the page and to protect against abuse and attacks. That is operational processing at the host; we build no profile from it and use it for no tracking.

If you email info@sqdev.app we will see your address and the contents of your message, and we keep the correspondence as long as needed to reply and to keep a support record. Our address runs through an email forwarding service. We use it to answer you, and for nothing else; you are not added to any mailing list.

2. Munasafa (munasafa.app)

Munasafa is a web app for splitting shared expenses. It works without an account: you create a group, you get a link, and anyone who opens the link can see the group and write in it.

What is stored on our servers — the group content you and the people with you type:

You type this data; we store it so that it can be handed back to you and to whoever holds the link, and for nothing else. It lives in a Cloudflare D1 database on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Do not put anything in the app that you would not want every holder of the group link to see — the link is the key, and anyone you send it to is in.

What stays on your device only: your choice of which member you are in a group, and your interface preferences. They are kept in your browser and never sent to us.

Signing in with Google (optional). If you choose it, Google gives us your name, your email address, and a stable identifier for your account. We use them to know which groups are yours, and for nothing else: we do not write to your inbox, and we do not reach your contacts or your files at Google. Without signing in, the app is fully usable.

Deletion. The app has a control to delete your account and its data, and it erases what belongs to you irreversibly. If you cannot reach it, write to us and we will do it — details on the account and data deletion page.

3. Kalimatna (kalimatna.com, and the iOS app)

Kalimatna's iOS app collects nothing at all. No account, no measurement, no contact with any server — it works entirely offline, and your progress lives on your device alone.

The website does two things: it measures site usage in aggregate (Google Analytics and Cloudflare) — counts and events, without identifying you — and it offers an optional Google sign-in that stores your name, your email and your daily results so progress syncs across devices and you can appear on the leaderboard. The game is fully playable without an account, and nothing in it sits behind sign-in.

The full detail is in Kalimatna's own privacy policy, which is authoritative for that product.

4. Children

Our apps are general-audience products, are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from a child of that age. If you believe a child has entered data, write to us and we will delete it.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell your data, rent it, or hand it to an advertiser. We rely on technical providers only:

We may disclose data where applicable law or a valid legal request requires it, and only to the extent required.

6. How long data is kept

7. Your rights

You may ask for a copy of what we hold about you, for it to be corrected or deleted, or withdraw your consent to sign-in. Write from the address you signed in with to info@sqdev.app. We respond within 30 days at the latest, normally within two business days, at no charge.

8. Security

All our pages are served over HTTPS, and deployment keys and secrets are never written into our source. No service on the internet is perfectly secure, so we reduce what we collect in the first place: less data means less to lose.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above changes with it, and a material change is announced in the affected app before it takes effect. Earlier versions are available on request by email.
